The Independence Lumber Racing team and young driver Damon Eller have recently returned home after a strong start to their 2007 racing season! Damon was very impressive in Dirt Late Model events at the Golden Isles Speedway in Brunswick, Georgia, the East Bay Raceway Park in Gibsonton, Florida, and the Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida in recent weeks. In all, Damon qualified for seven feature events out of the thirteen shows that he entered during his "Speedweeks 2007" campaign. The Crumpler, North Carolina native was especially impressive at the East Bay (FL) Raceway Park where he made four of the six Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series feature events, including the $12,000 to win finale that was taped by the cameras of the SPEED Channel.

Damon Eller and his #I4 team have a busy weekend schedule ahead of them, as they enter the month of March. On Friday and Saturday, March 2-3, the #I4 team will invade the Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tennessee for the annual 'Spring Thaw 100.' The unsanctioned event will be highlighted by a $10,000 to win, 100-lap feature event on Saturday night, March 3 at the ultra-fast Volunteer State oval. On Sunday, the action turns to the newly re-configured Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, South Carolina. The O'Reilly Southern Allstars Series will sanction the $10,000 to win 'March Madness' show at the track formerly known as the "Place Your Momma Warned You About."
