Damon Eller Preps for Big Doubleheader Weekend!

(CRUMPLER, NORTH CAROLINA) Damon Eller and his #I4 Dirt Late Model team invaded the Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tennessee on March 21-22 for the 10th Annual 'Spring Thaw 100.' The weekend did not go as planned for the Independence Lumber Racing team, as they unfortunately failed to make the starting grid for the $10,000 to win feature event, which was sanctioned by the Advance Auto Parts Thunder Series (AAPTS). Damon timed in thirty-first quickest in qualifying last Friday and later finished eighth in his competitive heat race. When the action resumed on Saturday, March 22, the Crumpler, North Carolina native could only muster a seventh place performance in the B-Main, which did not transfer him into the 100-lap 'Spring Thaw 100.' You can view complete results from "The Gap" online at www.volunteerspeedway.com!

The Independence Lumber Racing team will head to Georgia and Indiana this upcoming weekend for two Dirt Late Model events. The North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth, Georgia will play host to a $5,000 to win O'Reilly Southern Allstars Series (OSAS) show tonight, March 28. Following the 'Ernest Young Memorial' at North Georgia tonight, the #I4 team will trek north to the Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana on Saturday, March 29. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will sanction the annual 'Indiana Icebreaker' on Saturday and a $10,000 top prize is up for grabs. You can learn more about each of these races online at www.southern-allstars.com and www.lucasdirt.com!
