Damon Eller and his #I4 team traveled north over the weekend to compete in the annual 'Indiana Icebreaker' at the historic Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana. After a sixth place finish in his heat race, Damon was able to improve several positions throughout the running of his B-Main event. However, a third place effort in the consolation race behind Scott Bloomquist and Darrell Lanigan was one spot shy of transferring him to the $10,000 to win, Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series-sanctioned A-Main. Even though Damon did not compete in the 75-lap feature race, he is still leading the heated Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Rookie of the Year chase following the March 31 'Indiana Icebreaker' at Brownstown. The Independence Lumber Racing team will take this upcoming weekend off from Dirt Late Model competition, but will be very busy throughout the month of April. Below is their tentative schedule for the month of April:
