Damon Eller Earns Pair of Top Tens Last Weekend in Georgia and North Carolina!

(CRUMPLER, NORTH CAROLINA) Damon Eller and his #I4 Dirt Late Model team traveled to the Gordon Park Speedway in Augusta, Georgia and the 311 Speedway in Madison, North Carolina on May 9 and 10. At Gordon Park on Friday night, May 9, Damon was able to bring his #I4 MasterSbilt entry home in the tenth position in the $4,000 to win Carolina Clash Late Model Series main event.

On Saturday at 311, the historic venue played host to Twin 25s, with each 25-lap A-Main paying $2,500 to the winner. Damon qualified well and later posted a sixth place effort in the first feature event. After the top six were inverted for the second Twin 25, the Crumpler, North Carolina native started from the pole position. He was headed towards another strong performance until a broken driveshaft dropped him to a thirteenth place finish. The Independence Lumber Racing team will be back in action on Saturday night, May 17. The Carolina Clash Late Model Series will sanction another set of Twin 25s at the nearby Wythe Raceway in Rural Retreat, Virginia on Saturday.
