Damon Eller Earns Pair of Top Tens in Twin 25s at Wythe!

(CRUMPLER, NORTH CAROLINA) The Independence Lumber Racing team invaded the nearby Wythe Raceway in Rural Retreat, Virginia on Saturday night, May 17, as the Carolina Clash Late Model Series sanctioned Twin 25s. Each 25-lap feature event last Saturday at Wythe paid $2,500 to the winner. Damon Eller started off the evening by timing his #I4 MasterSbilt chassis in seventh quickest in qualifying. After starting from the inside of the fourth row for the first A-Main, Damon was able to get by one car en route to a sixth place performance. Damon and his #I4 team have a pair of Dirt Late Model events on their radar for the upcoming Memorial Day holiday weekend. On Saturday night, May 24, the Tazewell Speedway in Tazewell, Tennessee will play host to a $5,000 to win O'Reilly Battle of the Bluegrass Dirtcar Series show. Following a day off on Sunday, it is back to work for the #I4 team on Monday, May 26 at the Travelers Rest Speedway in Travelers Rest, South Carolina. The Carolina Clash Late Model Series will sanction a $4,000 to win event on Memorial Day.
