After a rare weekend off from Dirt Late Model action, Damon Eller and his Independence Lumber Racing team will invade the Commonwealth of Kentucky for a pair of events this weekend! On Friday, June 1, Damon will be in action at the legendary Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, Kentucky for a $3,000 to win O'Reilly NARA Battle of the Bluegrass Series event. The exciting, wheel-to-wheel racing will then turn to the Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky on Saturday evening for the annual 'Ralph Latham Memorial.' The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will sanction the $10,000 to win event on Saturday, which will be taped by the cameras of the SPEED Channel for viewing later in the year. Damon is currently thirteenth in the latest version of the series point standings heading into Florence and second in the heated Rookie of the Year battle.
