Damon Eller to Take Weekend Off Following 'Dream 100'

(CRUMPLER, NORTH CAROLINA) The Independence Lumber Racing team invaded the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio from June 6-7 for the 14th Annual 'Dream 100.' The mega-event at the "Big E" once again boasted a $100,000 top prize. Damon Eller timed in 40th quickest of the 122 entrants during qualifying on Friday night, June 6. When the action resumed at the 1/2-mile, high-banked oval on Saturday, Damon could only muster a fourteenth place finish in his competitive heat race. Unfortunately, his 'Dream 100' aspirations were over following heat race action and he was forced to watch the 100-lap A-Main from the stands. Damon and his #I4 team will take the upcoming weekend, June 13-14, off from Dirt Late Model competition. Their next scheduled events will be a pair of Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series shows on June 20-21 at the Cherokee (SC) Speedway and the Fayetteville (NC) Motor Speedway.
