The Independence Lumber Racing team, with Damon Eller behind the wheel of their #I4 machine, invaded the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio over the weekend for the 13th Annual 'Dream 100.' In qualifying on Friday night, June 8, Damon timed in twenty-seventh quickest of the 146 entrants. Unfortunately for the #I4 team, they could not transfer into the $100,000 to win feature event on Saturday after finishing eleventh in the heat race and seventeenth in the C-Main. Damon and his #I4 team will be back in action this coming weekend, as they are set to compete in a trio of Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series events! The busy extended weekend will kick off tonight, June 14 with a $7,000 to win show at the Duck River Speedway in Wheel, Tennessee. Another $7,000 to win race will then be held on Friday evening at the North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth, Georgia. The weekend finale will occur on Saturday night, June 16 at the Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama. The cameras of the SPEED Channel will be on hand at TST on Saturday to tape all of the exciting wheel-to-wheel action from the $10,000 to win event. The Crumpler, North Carolina native comes into the three-race Southern swing eleventh in the latest version of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series point standings.
