Damon Eller and his #I4 team are gearing up for an ultra-busy week of racing action, which will start tonight, July 16 at the Wythe Raceway in Rural Retreat, Virginia! Damon will compete in the $3,500 to win O'Reilly Southern Nationals Series race tonight at Wythe before entering two other series races this week. Damon's five-race week will conclude with a pair of Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series events this upcoming weekend in Illinois and Missouri. Below is the tentative schedule for the Independence Lumber Racing team this week:

July 16 | Wythe (VA) Raceway, Southern Nationals | $3,500 to win
July 17 | Cherokee (SC) Speedway, Southern Nationals | $3,500 to win
July 19 | Tri-County (NC) Race Track, Southern Nationals | $3,500 to win
July 20 | Tri-City (IL) Speedway, Lucas Oil Series (TV) | $10,000 to win
July 21 | Lucas Oil (MO) Speedway, Lucas Oil Series | $10,000 to win

The Crumpler, North Carolina native was in action over the weekend in Alabama and Mississippi with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. On Friday evening, July 13, Damon was forced to take a series provisional to gain access into the $7,000 to win show at the North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, Alabama. After starting twenty-third on the grid, he was able to advance his #I4 machine nine positions en route to a fourteenth place performance.

The action then turned to the Columbus Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi on Saturday night, July 14 for a $10,000 to win event. Damon finished one spot out of a transfer position in the B-Main and had to take another series provisional. In front of the SPEED Channel cameras, Damon drove his #I4 MasterSbilt / Jay Dickens entry to a twentieth place finish in the A-Main at the "Baddest Bullring in the South" on Saturday.
