Eller competed in one lone event over the busy Labor Day holiday weekend,
as he traveled to the Tyler County Speedway in Middlebourne, West Virginia
for the 39th Annual 'Hillbilly 100.' Unfortunately for Damon and his #I4
team, they failed to make the starting grid for the $25,000 to win, Lucas
Oil Late Model Dirt Series-sanctioned feature event after Damon finished
fifth in his heat race and sixth in his B-Main. With 84 cars in attendance
for the prestigious race on Saturday, September 1, it was very difficult
to gain access into the 100-lap feature event. Following the show, Damon
still sits ninth in the latest version of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt
Series point standings. You can view complete results from last weekend's

Damon will take the upcoming September 7-8 weekend off from Dirt Late Model competition, as he will be getting married. However, John Gill and Curt Spalding are set to pilot Independence Lumber Racing entries at this weekend's $40,000 to win 'World 100' at the Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio. Damon's next scheduled race will be the $20,000 to win Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series show at the West Virginia Motor Speedway on September 14-15.
